    havent had the chance to write you yet. but i will. I know that you and Pismo jo are just sitting on the edge of your chair waiting to learn more about Sammy! i noticed today that you added Whistling in the Dark to your wish list......i think you'll really like this one.......i did. did you knwo that the author , lesley kagen, is in her 50's and this is her very first novel? she has a second one coming out sometime in 2008

    can this be? I have a preschool, a boxer(Sammy), 2 grown daughters, 11 grandchildren,and am also married to one of the good ones! (for 38 years!) You have many of the same books on your shelf as i do. I just got started in shelfari yesterday and am looking forward to getting recomendations from people with the same taste in books. glad to have found you. here is a recomendation: Good Dog. Stay. by Anna Wuindlen. this isnt on shelfari so i couldnt put it on my shelf but if you are a dog lover you will enjoy this one. easy and short read but bring a box of tissues! also MARLEY AND ME is another good dog book and i think i heard that they were making this one into a movie. an since you loved THE RED TENT, you have to read the CHRONICLES OF THE KINGS series. The first one in the series (there are 4 books) is GODS AND KINGS. After i finished with the red tent i found these books and they are along the same lines. set in Biblical times.
