One is married but the soul is single. A sad tale of love whom most of us can relate to. In this lifetime, we only have one chance to go and figure but duty should not marred the beauty of love. This is where Francesca drew the line. She wants it shared but be understood by her children.

Mr. Waller is as intriguing as the character, Michael Tillman in this novel. Just like in the "Bridges of Madison County", he likes the plot about meeting women and stole their hearts away from their husbands. But i like the lovestory coming from a man's point of view-this simply tell that a man is as sensitive as a woman.

Educating with a kiss of triumph in the end.. i had now a deeper understanding about the lives of geishas and the suppressed feelings they undergo while keeping a neutral affairs with men they met. They're supposed to be women in men's sentiments, trained to be stoic. I like that.
