So it was a mess; one should read 'Midnight's Children' in Agra and Delhi, 'The Ground Beneath Her Feet' in Mumbai, 'Shalimar the Clown' in Kashmir, but i was always several places ahead or behind... I still regret not seeing the Tower of Silence on Mumbai's Malabar Hill, and while in Kochi, i did not really look out for the ever-changing patterns of the synagogue tiles.”
