Many years ago, my parents instilled in my sisters and I a genuine love for reading. They would take us to the library and bring home a mound of books for us to read. As we grew up this love for reading continued and we would still go to the library only now I was doing this same activity with my own child.
Children have been a big part of my life ever since I can remember. As a Mom I have always tried to instill the importance of books and reading in my own child. Books can take us to far away magical places that we have never been before. They can stir our imaginations and spark our creativity. I believe my parents gave me a wonderful gift many years ago when they began this event. I think they are the reason I am who I am today. I am a published Author/Illustrator. My specialty is writing for children.
