Read the review for Charlotte Gray
Have you gotten into the Joe Abercrombie books yet?
How you finding the Trudi Carnavan books then? I've now got the prequel, but you can't borrow it till I've read it!
Hi gem what are you doing
I have just finished Birdsong. It was very good. I also see you have Charlotte Gray. We'll have to do a swap sometime.
If you are interested we are going to have a group read in the Hootoo refugees group and may well start with the dresden files book (s ) come and join us - we are a bit odd but nice lol
I see you have memoirs of a Giesha - I loved that book - thought it was beautiful
I am very glad you liked it! I shall try and get the other books to you ASAP. I am going to badmington Wednesday, so I could pop them round then. Me and Hannah both enjoyed the film, but we think its one that you would get more out of if you haven't read the book. We felt that in certain places it felt a little rushed and they would have been better making the film half and hour longer. Shame. Still we did enjoy it, but not enthused by it. I am glad you read the book first though.
Have you finished Northern Lights yet? What do you think about it?Me and Hannah went to see it at the Cinema on Sunday.
The fourth book of Tales of the Otori is called 'The Harsh Cry Of The Heron'. It also appears there is another book called 'Heaven's Net Is Wide'. From what I can tell this book tells the story from Lord what's his name's perspective, which I think covers storylines the predate and finish after the original triology. Wierd! Anyway you can read a little more about them on their reveiws on Amazon. Just don't read too far down as some people tell you about the story line!
Did you know there was a sequal to Empress Orchid. I haven't read it yet. I don't think it is released in paperback till next year.
Looking at your shelf, I see Tales of the Otori. Did you know there was a fourth book out?
Morning - nice shelf
