Reading has always been a passion of mine. As a little girl I would read whatever I could get my hands on--even books from my big sister's bookshelf (with or without permission). Now I am a little more restrained about taking other people's books, but when in the midst of a good book I still have trouble putting it down. I read all kinds of books as long as they pass my first paragraph/page test. The real test of a good book is one that sucks me into the time, place, and characters of the story. My favorite authors are David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, Anne Rice, Isabel Allende, Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, and many others. « less
