On your blog page, how can you get the layout where you can add the pictures on the side that don't go away? Like your breaking dawn countdown? How'd you get the colors and that layout format? I started mine finally although work keeps me pretty busy. I'd just like to have some things that run down the side and only the center scrolls.

The Breaking Dawn widget, I was trying to get that for on my shelfari weeks and weeks ago and you can't do that on here. Your blog is so pretty, the colors are very soothing.

Well I don't want to blog to get noticed but I find that there's so much more I'd like to say about the books I read and I love to play with layouts and such. I don't even know what a swag or arcs are (like you guys were talking about on the other page) I'd just like a place to write, a place to collect quotes and such and have fun with widgets and layouts. Thank you so much for your advice. I'll probably have questions in the future!

I love your blog! How do you get started with it? I love all your widgets. I've often thought of starting my own blog but didn't really know how to go about it. I made a myspace but I don't really feel comfy in that community. Could you help a newbie?

Vampires, Witches & Were’s all that
would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    As always happy reading..
Show me the books he loves and I shall know the man
far better than through mortal friends.

Thanks much - It is frustrating when you begin a series & 3 or 4 books into it there is a shift. I'm hoping that it doesn't happen in the Twilight series. love it & so do the kids. It seems like I have to preview 75% of the YA books now. Not that I mind to much since I'm a fan of YA, but it is still frustrating to buy something & then have to turn it into a used bookstore! thanks again, I'll be sure to keep it off the shelves.

    how would you rate twilight?
lately i've been seeing a lot of stephanie meyer books -is twilight a meyer book?- anyway, now it seems sort of a sign, like it's one of those books that if i don't read now i'm gonna regret it later.
    i really hope it is!

I was looking through your shelf and was surprised, I love Mandi Books, I didn't know many others that read them! I also loved Beverly Lewis books, I started reading them when I was ten or eleven, those were the only adult books my mom allowed me to read.

i really enjoyed _bermudez triangle_ and all johnson's books, actually. the thing i liked most about this book is that the relationship between the two girls really shows what it's like when you happen to fall in love with another girl, but are not really a lesbian or never thought about yourself that way. the relationship between the two girls is complicated because one girl comes to think of herself as being lesbian and only wanting to be with women, while the other girl decides that it's just not for her...and they close out the third girl and don't want to say anything to her about what happened when she was gone, so she's left out of the secret and worries that they've all outgrown each other. as i said, i really enjoyed the book and thought it was realistic, funny, sad--everything i wanted. :)

I was looking at your Wish List because usually what you are looking to read sounds good to me too :) I see you added A Voice in the Wind by Francine Rivers.. I highly recommend that book, in fact the whole series. Have book 2 handy after you finish book 1 because you don't want to be left hanging. Then keep book 3 nearby for some closure..lol :)

Hey, I finished Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. I liked it, but it was really sad, and there was a lot of disappointment and rollercoaster emotions in it. The only thing I didn't like is I thought the language made it a touch raw. I enjoyed the characters a lot though, you should definatly give it a go.
