I do have a suggestion, Sarah. This book will take you to Iraq. It's called HUNTING THE KING, and by complete coincidence it's mine. (I just finished another novel last week that takes place in the Congo in 1960 but who knowws if it will ever see the light of day?) HUNTING features an intrepid young woman named Molly O'Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother's death in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother's death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college in Boston. Now an archaeologist, she is recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to know who or what is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As a loyal Catholic, she is scared that what she finds may have devastating consequences for her faith. There is an awesome YouTube book trailer well worth watching to give you an idea of the power of the book. If you get the chance, I hope you'll take the time to watch it and let me know your feelings. Thanks. Peter
Hi Sarah, I just happened to see your picture and knew I had to say hi. Pride & Prejudice has to be one of my favorite books of all time. I can't even begin to count how many times I've read and re-read and watched the BBN movie! What do you think your favorite Jane Austen book is? I've read and LOVED them all!
Just found out I am having a baby so if you know if any good books on pregnancy or related topics I would love to hear about them
So bad Sarah u don't have any interest in Africa, I would have invited u right away, but well......
If you make it to Germany go to the black forest thats where the werewolves are supposed to be. When I was there some of the people still believed in them. Again 40 years ago.
Hi Sarah, I think you'll like Austria I've been there too. I was in Saltzburg and went to Mozarts see home while I was there. The country side is absolutly beautiful of course that was 40 years ago but I doubt it has changed that much. Hopefully, that is. I'd hate to make a liar out of myself. But, I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much.

You will love traveling and you should try and go. I know that money can be tight, but it is an expeerience that you can't miss if you get the chance to go.

Hi Sarah, I thought I'd pass this on PBS is airing a bunch of movies based on Jane Austen's books, starting in January. I'm not sure how you feel about the movies versus the books... but I thought you might want to know. I think it starts either the 6th or the 9th, I can't remember which.

thank you for accepting my friend invitation! well, I love many books, I have many favourites books or merely pages or sentences I am in love with, is difficult to pick one. but one book stands out as a constant wonder: "Master and Margarita" by Mihail Bulgakov. you should read it if you haven't yet! ok, now what's YOUR favourite book? because I like asking people that question too!
Hello Sarah! well, I am also a 'book taveller' since I haven't really been anywhere, but from my cozy armchair I feel a intimate feeling of familiarity with the world, which is because of literature...I also like Jane Austen, especially "Pride and Prejudice" which is an all-time favourite for me! I've read it countless times!
No way! I think we have much in common. I checked out that website, I loved some of the pictures. "A Quiet Corner" is cute too, where the little one is reading in a stuffed chair.. I still like the one I have. I think I am going to ask for it for Christmas! I didn't realize you could buy prints of it. How neat! Thank you so much!
