I have not read anything by Louis de Bernieres. What would you recommend reading first? Yes I do plan to read Born on a Blue day. However, I can not remember why I picked out that book. I keep adding books that I want to read but forget to remind myself why I pick out that particular book. What's a girl to do but continue to read!

I see you've read a few of Haruki Markumi's books. I too love his stories. But my favorite so far is "Kafka on the Shore". Just finished it. If you like him you sould read 100 years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

thanks for your concern, health wise i am fine... your reaction is but natural.. 'sanchita and not reading' is something people can not identify with..

some disturbance at workplace hence everything has gone topsy turvy.. i guess to read and to read voraciously, one needs to be happy first..

but then such is life.. absolutely feel like taking a break from work and spending more time with family, specially son, his music, my passion for other things.. what is this 'mid life crisis'?? dont know..
