Hi Jan. Thanks for joining my group, Jesus Freaks. I hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions feel free to ask them, but don't take it personally if I don't get back to you for a while. My summer is very busy and I probably won't be able to log on for weeks at a time. I hope you have a lovely day.~Anne P~

Hi Jan. Just receive the book, and since I'm in the middle of a couple other books, I've got this one in the wings. My "I'm reading" shelf is a bit deceptive. Basically for me it's all the books I have in my possession. The other "To Be Read" shelf is a reminder of the books I don't have yet. I'm glad that I've got the book with all the differing opinions on it here. I may not have been so thrilled to have received it. I will definitely be posting my thoughts when I'm finished. Did you read it? What were your thoughts?

Thank You! Now if I can only get the book, read it, and catch up so I can comment on it. :)

Hi Jan, Lagos is 88 degrees F right now, even though we've been having heavy morning showers for a few days. i guess you can get by, drink a lot of water to ease the heat and regular showers with light clothing. You should be fine with that! Take care!
Thanks for adding me as a friend. When I saw The Shack on your shelf I couldnl't believe it. You have NO IDEA how many times I've seen or heard of that book in the last 2 weeks! Then, someone gave it to me! Do you think it could be...GOD?! :o) Now we're going to be reading it for book club! Crazy. ~Mimi

Must be book related, then! I'll ask her tomorrow when I see her online. :)
Oh, wow! Well, let's see... (other than moving back to Texas)... the only thing that comes to mind is Shauna... (I was at her wedding way back when). Am I close?
Hi Jan! I sure am. Sharen and I have been friends for years. I'm so thrilled she's coming back home to Houston, but I know you all will miss her terribly! You know her through your group?

I would love to get to know you better also. I think I'll pass on the book club though because I read strictly fiction most of the time and I have such a huge stack to read already as it is. Thanks for the offer though. I appreciate you thinking of me.
