I have loved books even before I could read. I like a story with substance. Good examples of my favorite type of book are The Vineyard by Barbara Delinsky and Welcome To the World, Baby Girl by Fannie Flagg. Another example is No Greater Love and Granny Dan by Danielle Steele.

    Hi Crystal !

    I haven't read any Nora Roberts books but I watched on tv last night the movie "Montana Sky" based on her book. I quite enjoyed the movie as I like ranch settings , horses, family stories. Probably why I like watching "Heartland" on tv. As well as the fact that one of the lead actors is from where I live.

    I've read some of Debbie Macomber books. The Dakota Series & the Blossom St. Series, which i enjoyed. I plan on reading more.
    I like to throw in other genres once in awhile between the fantasy books I read.

    First I saw the movie, then I read the book because it was in my pile and I wanted to get it off. I don't think I am a real Nicholas Sparks fan, so I would say it was about a 3.5 stars. It's a quick read. There are lots of authors I prefer, such as Susan Wiggs, Kristen Hannah and Luanne Rice.

    Have you read The Bronze Horseman? By the looks of your bookshelf I think you might like t his book. I'm just beginning it and it is a huge book! It has come so highly recommended by lots of readers and there's even a special fan page on Goodreads for this book!

    No I haven't heard of her book. I have to look for it. I hope you have the opportunity to read The Sandal Maker, Crystal. It is not a past paced book but many find it entertaining and enlightening. Thanks, Asher

    Even though my grandparents did not experience such horror of the Holocaust, I truly feel that we should show the photo to represent such a disgrace to the human experience.

    I found a great photo but not sure how to send it to you to post. I did a yahoo search for pictures of auschwitz prisoners and found a small black & white of the prisoners behind the fence in their stripped clothes. Can you try to find this picture? It is a perfect on I feel for this group.
