Hi there! I just read your review of Hurting Distance by Sophie Hannah, which I am reading at the moment, and thought I would stop by and say hello! You are obviously quite a crime story buff, looking at your bookshelf! Have you read Sophie Hannah's third book - The Point of Rescue? I have it sitting on my To Be Read pile and think I will read it right after Hurting Distance. Anyway, hope you are having a grand day! Cheers, fairytonic

We still have one member waiting to receive a copy of THE NEWTON PROPHECIES by Keith Katsikas. I’m hoping it will arrive soon. We have ALL THE PRETTY GIRLS to be discussed on the 15th and A WICKED SNOW on the 1st. Would it be too soon to schedule Keith’s book to be discussed on June 15th?

More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.

I hope I didn’t posted this earlier, but I didn’t want to miss anyone.

Dear Lostbagpuss: As a member of the Suspense & Thriller group, you may be interested in my new novel, HUNTING THE KING, which just hit the book stores last week. Watch the YouTube book trailer, if you have the chance. It's awesome. Really. Here are the details:
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon." Molly is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious past who is about to go on the adventure of a lifetime.

As I said, to get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heart-pounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at http://www.peterclenott.com.

The sequel, TRACES OF A LIFE, has already been completed, as well, the first two books in a series with Molly O’Dwyer. In TRACES, Molly begins uncovering her own past while digging on an island in Boston harbor. Murder and cover-up and a mysterious past that many people, even those closest to her, don’t want revealed.

If you have the chance, Lost, please let me know what you think. Thanks.

    Hi Lostbagpuss!
Thank you for joining the group reading of my new novel 2060: The Newton Prophecies. I really hope you enjoy it! This is a very exciting time for me as an author. I can't wait to learn what you think of all the hard work I put into this really fun story. Please help by spreading the word to others about this group read. So far there are four who have ordered copies at the agreed 50% off and there appear to be several more who are going to join. This will surely be fun.

Thank you so much for your support!

Keith has set up the information about "2060: The Newton Prophecies" on the Susupense & Thrillers Group. Would you let me know when you order your copy? It will give me a guideline as to when we'll all be ready for the group discussion.

    Thanks!!

HIya..glad you are OK. I havent visited h2g2....nothing much was happening when I last went. I might pop in and see if it is busy. I am off to the National Portrait Gallery today with a friend. There is a new exhibition of photos from Vanity Fair from 1918 to the present day so it should be good. The sun is trying to shine here so I am hoping by the time we go it will be springlike! You working or off ?
