Pamela M

Hey. What to say. I'm in my early, early, early twenties, doing the undergraduate thing. I'd like to have a complete list of all the books I own. That's one of my goals for the '08 year, as is growing my hair to my shoulders, raising my GPA, living with my lover, writing every day, meditating more often, becoming (even vaguely) politically... more »

Had not noticed your question-en-triplicate. Sad puns in picture form. Something that had languished on a AV shelf. MEL has acquired O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night, Wright's Native Son, and Steinbeck's Once There was a War, as well as a Maugham and a Forester. M

Hey! Thanks for the note :) Glad you like the blog, it is a fun thing to do. About Confessions of a Shopaholic - I have no excuse!!! Someone had gifted me 'The Devil wears Prada' in an attempt to get me started on chiklit, it wasn't too bad so I picked up 3 of Sophie Kinsella's books the next week (2 Shopaholics & the undomestic godess) & read them all in 2 days. Not exactly high intelligence ;) but it was light comic relief after long. lol. Ok, did I actually admit to that in writing?!

Ah yes, Apollo is on shelfari too, isn't he? I'll bet he's reading some interesting stuff - must check it out :). Anyway, you asked about Pronoia: The copy I gave you was a copy Mom bought for herself, but found she couldn't stay interested, so she gave it to me to pass on to whomever I want. I love the book, and have my own copy squirreled away. I think it's thorougly inspirational and beautiful, and you seem to be a person open to inspiration and beauty. Not that I want to impose my taste in books on you - but this one needed a home.

Yes, I have become a student. It's a horrible situation to be in if bookworming outside of syllabi. I do haunt ApolloLemmon.com where I post oddities.
