Lisa, me too. I heard she's written a new book but I can't remember the name. Her graphic book was not good since her illustrator was oriental and all the scots look asian.
My copy from the eLibrary just came in...so am ready for next month!
Did you ever read Diana Gabalden's Highlander series--awesome books all 9 of them!!
Micki
To be honest, I did a lot of skim reading with it. The ending was worth finishing it, but only to set us up for the next book. Dani is really hard to deal with! You're right, it does go around in circles. And it's hard to deal with grown/immortal men having a thing for 14-year old Dani. Its not like she's mature for her age. KMM definitely should have aged her. When the next book comes out I'll read it and let you know if it's worth continuing, if you want.
I've read two of her contemporary romance books and liked them but have heard good things about her Highlander series (I think I may have one of them on my shelf!).
You're welcome. I'd start Monica's series first. It has everything and is better written.
Yes, I would. Actually Jonetta, Erin, Kris and I were planning to do a buddy read early March. Join us! I think we'll be setting it up in the buddy reads group.
It's a new trilogy, first book, and this is my first experience with her writing. She constructed a really good story but then had quite a bit of repetition. I'm conflicted about it because I liked it but it doesn't measure up to the level of Maya Banks or Monica McCarty's Highlanders. I'm glad I read it, will read the next two books but it took me a while to get through it.
Hey Lisa,
I deleted your nomination of E.L. James in the Book Boyfriends Most Read Author thread because someone already nominate her. Please come back to the thread and nominate another author that you read this year.
Thanks and have a great week,
Lauren

I'm listening to it and the narrator is hilarious!!!
"What if my children are very bright and I can't understand them?" LOL
I haven't read any before, no.
If I'm being totally honest I am not loving it. At all. I don't like either of the main characters.
