“Kathy Goodhew brings her magical world to life in this fantasy story and it kept me wanting more. The main character Mena finds love in a boy named Lucas, while still grieving from her mother's death. Vivid dreams come to her every night, leaving her puzzled as to what they are all about. As Mena hikes in the woods with her friends, they come across the very same meadow that Mena has been dreaming about. When she tells her Nana about the dream and the being in the dream, and about the meadow Mena and her friends found, her Nana seems to think that Mena has met a fairy. Romance, mystery, and adventure are all woven throughout this story, making it enchanting. Wouldn't you like to meet a Hidden one? I know I would. Five stars. I can't wait to read the sequel- The Hidden Ones: Confluence.
