Hey, we are doing great! Mike's surgery went well. He still has to be careful so his back can heal. Mr. Blevins is an awesome teacher so enjoy having him. Can't wait to come back and be with you all. Thanks for caring so much.

Hey. Not sure if you got my message last night so I am sending another one.
It isn't me it is Mike. He has a herniated disc in his back and it created a tremendous amount of pain. He still has a hard time walking but we got the pain down
to a manageable amount. Thanking you so much for caring. You are such an

Hey, thank you so much for your concern you are so sweet. It's not me it's Mike. He has a herniated disc and it is causing him a tremendous amount of pain down his leg. Tuesday he ended up at the ER, was treated and was released. He is still in pain but manageable. I don't feel right leaving him alone. Still really can't stand up without pain. I will be out tomorrow also. It will be Ok and I will be there Friday. Thank you for being so caring. You are such awesome kid. Just wanted to let you know.

Sounds like you are having a fun summer. Don't think I will be at the fair, not even sure If I will be in town. Going to West Virginia to a resort called Oglbay with Mike's family. His sister will be flying in from Calif. Really looking forward to it. Make sure you keep reading!

There isn't a reading list that I know of for the sixth grade. I can give you some book titles if you want. I am reading Inside Out and Back Again which is a historical fiction written in poetry form. I think you would like it. I also think you should read Green Angel and Green Witch by Alice Hoffman. Dead End in Norvelt is just a nice read. Make sure you read Wonder also. Deadly is another good historical fiction. That one is about Typhoid Mary. Ask your mom about Typhoid Mary. I can give you more if you want.

Hey! I thought you guys sounded great. Very thoughtful for you guys to come in on the first day of your summer. Have been reading a lot of course. Just finished Dead End in Norvelt. Really liked it. Still getting ready for our big race and a lot of hanging out. Summer going well so far. How is your summer going? Glad to hear you are still reading.
