Welcome to Good Reads. We are glad you joined and want to encourage you to participate.
The group profile should give you some idea of how Good Reads works, and the shelf provides a list of books we have read. Last month we read and discussed Await Your Reply by Dan Chaon; this month we are reading and discussing Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez; next month we will be reading Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand.
If you are an author trying to promote your new book, there are a number of Shelfari groups which have self-promotion threads to assist you. Good Reads is not one of those groups. We reserve our shelf for books we have read as a group and confine our discussions to the books we have selected as a group to read.
However, you should feel free to post to any of the book discussions (old or new) as the spirit moves you; and vote for your favorite when we post candidates for the April read.Posted 2 years ago. ( send a note )
