Been an avid reader since grade school - more so than my brother and sisters. Enjoy English literature, mostly from the 18th and 19th century, but also enjoy modern thrillers from John Grisham, the Left Behind series, and earlier Stephen King. Have copies of The Lord of the Rings that date back about 30 years with original art work by J.R.R. Tolkien himself (which is no longer available through current publishers). These poor copies have been read so many times I had to buy a new set to preserve them - I still read the set every once in awhile. Also enjoy Frank Peretti's Christian fiction, especially his earlier works.
General facts: love baseball (Red Sox fan), needle arts of all kinds, and cooking. I'm a 'foodie' - I collect recipes whereever I go and love to try new foods. « less
