Audiobook devotees are welcome here! Let us know
which books and authors you are listening to as you
make your way through each day. Audiobooks have
been my drug of choice for over a decade. Selections,
narrations, sources, and devices have improved greatly
over that time period.
HI Jane
I see you are reading The Queen's Lover. I hope to read it this year and will be curious to hear your thoughts on it when you are done. Hope all is well

Hello:
Looks like another beautiful summer day here.
Dracula: Hearts of Stone
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.
“I found myself "hearing" the characters in this story. They are well written and I found myself able to leave the normal world behind. I deeply enjoyed the humor and the addition of P. Anthony, that was a touch I did not expect at all. Dracula in this book is seen in a different light, not a true creature of evil at all. I do suggest that you read this book as it is very good and enjoyable.”

Hello :)
I really enjoyed browsing your shelf. I don't know a lot of people who love historical books so it was a real treat for me to find so many books to add to my shelf! Thanks!
Welcome to the “Who Doesn’t Love a Classic?” Group!
We’re a very active group so I hope you enjoy it here. Feel free to take your time and browse around. We have group reads that take place every two months, a discussion thread where people post great reviews (post yours too!) and lots of other interesting conversations taking place all the time.
…And don’t forget to introduce yourself in the Introductions thread!

Hello Jane. Just browsing your site. I just finished reading the Alchemist and I posted my review that I was not impressed. I was looking through the other posted reviews, and I noticed that you too were not real impressed. This caused me to check out your site. I see we have 31 books in common. We both liked Pride & Prejudice and Dune, but we don’t seem to agree on much else. I gave 5 stars to War & Peace and The Godfather, but you only gave them 4 stars. We both gave 4 stars to Cyrano de Bergerac. In any case, I invite you to check out my site and come back at me with your comments. Cheers.
