I never know what to say in these things. It feels weird to talk about myself. I'm Kitty K. Free, a Bronxite, reader, writer, poet, drawer, amateur graphic artist, and soap and candle maker. I'm trying to learn to play electric guitar, which is proving to be as difficult as I thought it would be. I wrote a humorous and inspirational book... more »

The version of this that I read was in the form of a graphic novel. It depressed me at the end, but it was such an entertaining and interesting story. I'm glad i didn't see the movie. I'm sure it would've made me cry.

This book was sublime. It was as sweeet as it's name. I felt so happy reading this book. It lifted my spirits at a time when they were low. I'm so glad to have come across this book. The supernatural weaves in so easily with the story that I almost didn't feel it happening. Then the next thing I knew I was wrapped in a believable fairytale. Loved it.

This book was my introduction to Manga, so it holds a special place in my heart. It was so much fun to read, and opened my mind up to an entirely different view of writing and drawing.

I love this series! I love the incorporation of The Towers into the story, the use of NY as a character, the villians, the hero and his staff. The drawing is spectacular.

When I first read this, I was too young to understand all of the concepts because I hadn't experienced anything about men at the time. Now as an adult, this book resonates with me. It's not easy to compassionately show how silly love can be, without making the characters seem stupid. Ms. McMillan does so, and I felt for all of these women. Also, this book didn’t demonize black men at all for me. When I first read it I didn’t ask my mother, “Is this what black men are like.” I asked, “Is what men are like.”

This was a lot of book, and I love every word of it! I laughed and cried, and got angry. But most of all I hoped, and wanted the best for the family. How much do I love this book? I've read this book twice.

I love the honesty of this book, especially the way Peter falls and grows. And I love the way the book was put together. It was like going through someone's personal scrapbook. A wonderful read.

This book was BRILLIANT! I've read it twice. I absolutely love the description of the New York City I knew as a child. Even as a female I can relate to the main character, and his many quirks. Love the way this was written and I thorough enjoyed the trip. Great read.
