I think that the story version is more accurate because book came out before the movie did.
The characters I imagined while reading, that the characters would be rougher looking than in they were in the movie. I think that some of the actors in the movie didn't fill the part completely and they should of had different actors for some of the parts.

The characters that change by the end of the book are Erik and Tamara because Erik in the beginning thinks that he his doing good by being in the German army, but, by the end of the book he is just sick and tired of the war altogether and escapes the war. Tamara changes because in the beginning she is a Russian that hates the germans and by the end of the book she is accepting of Erik for who he is.

The ending of this book is satisfying because it all works out in the end and everybody is happy and Erik and Tamara finally make it to America.

This book has implications for the future of Germany after WWII and some of the short term consequences are bad for the Nazis for the war crimes they had committed and some of the short term consequences for allies are good because the war in Europe is finally over and soldiers start to return home. The long term consequences for Germany are good for the most part because they are able to rebuild Germany, but, there is one bad consequence though and that is they have to deal with the Berlin wall and the Cold War.

There is a passage in the book that I found to be sad because Don (the Narrator of the story) was when he was fighting in the Netherlands and had to kill a German soldier for the first time.

The main characters change by the end of the book because Artemis Fowl ,in the beginning of the book, is a 14 year old boy that is extremely smart and his parents are wealthy and he uses his genius for his criminal interests which he uses to steal an unknown painting from a safe deposit box in a bank in Munich, Germany. By the end of the book he sends the painting to an Art museum in Ireland.Artemis has a bodyguard and his name is butler and he changes by the end of the book also because in the beginning he don't really care what Artemis does but by the end of the book he starts to voice his opinion and Artemis starts to take his opinion into consideration.

The end of the book is satisfying because everything that was messed up in the beginning all gets straightened out by the end and everything is right again.

It took me awhile to get in to this book, but, overall I thought it was a good book. It was also, at times, boring there were also parts that I thought were exicting.
I thought the ending was satisfying because the boy in the story is finally found by his father who had been looking for him since the wagon train he was on was attacked by indians.

The main characters change a lot over the course of the story, Matt changes the most because he grows from just a little boy to a teenager and during that time he learns he is a clone and also that clones and eejits are treated as animals which Matt starts to see himself as an animal as a result. Tam Lin also changes from not really liking or knowing Matt to taking Matt on little adventures.
The ending is very good because Matt returns from being in an orphanage and working at the plankton factory and going to find Maria in San Luis and when he returns to the Alacran mansion to learn that Tam Lin and the rest of the Alacrans had been killed at El Patrons funeral with the exception of Celia, Daft Donald and Mr. Ortega. Matt also learns that the result of El Patron dying that he inherits everything that was owned by El Patron and with this he plans to destroy the opium and the poppy fields of Opium.
