“Describe the main characters—their personality traits, motivations, inner qualities.
There are 3 main characters in this book, Ian, Julia, and Oswald. My least favorite of the 3 in Julia. I don't really like her character because she seems to stuck up. She seems to want everything her way, and she judges a lot of people. Throughout the book I couldn't understand how her and Ian were very close friends. They seem like total opposites. For example Julia seems to be a drama queen and Ian seems to want nothing to do with drama. Oswald is in the middle of the 2. He and Julia had been dating for most of the book, before they started dating they were close friends also. I don't like Oswald very much because he seems very whipped. He agrees with what ever Julia says and he's kind of afraid of her. Ian is my favorite character in the book. He knows how to think for himself. He started a email chain for a good cause and when things got rough for him at school and legally he kept his ground and didn't let anyone push him around.
Is the ending satisfying?
I think the ending is very good. Ian doesn't back down, and instead he went in front of his whole school and the lawyer representing Frankies and debated against him. I like how Ian got publicity for his cause. The name of the book was very fitting. I think it was very well put together.”
