I'm a wife, mom, nurse, daughter, grad student and nursing instructor. My getaway is reading and I do it every chance I get! My one promise to myself is that I will give myself some reading time every night before bed. Anything more than that is great, but at least I can count on that much.     It is good to set aside some time each day to read.. its good to take some time to yourself when life is often so busy.

    I think you will enjoy reading the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. I sure do. I go to bed early so I can read for an hour or so before I go to sleep. You remind me of myself years ago. Reading has been my escape my whole life. Now that I'm old and retired I get to read more often during the day - if I can tear myself away from the computer, that is. Glad to hear from you.
