Hola! Like everyone else on Shelfari, I ♥ reading! The longest time I ve ever read was 10 hours straight - no breaks (that includes eating). XD I love fantasys, adventures, and forbidden love and have an obsession with manga (thank you mangareader.net and Spirituel)! I also daydream a lot. Others call it spacing out or thinking , but I prefer 'daydream'. Therefore, I have a lot of ideas that would make excellent stories if time allowed me to put them all in long hand... So other than reading, writing, and daydreaming, I love playing piano, drawing, and spending time with my sisters and cousins.
My sister and I happen to be rather moral people, so below I will be adding some quotes I ve come across...
Shoot for the moon - even if you miss, you ll land among the stars. -Les Brown
You laugh at me because I m different, I laugh at you because you re all the same.
Time is nature's way of preventing everything from happening at once.
A joke is a very serious thing.
If knowledge is power, libraries are power plants.
Live as if you'll die today, dream as if you'll live forever.
"What is it like to fly?"
"It's like leaving everything. The world drops beneath your feet and you're free. You become a part of everything. You see how your own little grove of trees is woven into the nearby fields and river. You go higher and see how your little river flows from the mountains, winds through forests, runs past your town, makes for the sea. You see how everything is connected, how any one thing is part of something more, and 'something more' is everything there is. From up high, all our precious borders and boundaries and fences mean nothing at all. When you fly, the smells of field and marsh, ocean and woodland come freely to you as the wind lifts you. When you come back down to earth at last, you finally understand that the ground is simply the bottom of the sky." ~Alene and Ardwin in Birdwing~
You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.
~William W. Purkey
