“Shadow Spinner is about the adventures and hardships of a crippled girl named Marjan. So what happens is she was at the harem with her Aunty to sell their jewelry, and while their, Marjan told a story to the kids there. Dunyazad (Sharazad's sister) heard Marjan telling the story and took her to Sharazad. When Marjan tell's the story to Sharazad, she finds out that Sharazad's already told that to the Sultan. And the reason why this is so important is because she has to tell him stories to survive. Backstory time! O.k so before, the Sultan had this wife that he loved a lot, but then it turns out that his wife was cheating on him, so, like any other sane, normal person, he beheaded her. Now remember, this was a long time ago, like B.C time. So after that he vowed to himself to behead his new wife the next day. But then came Sharazad, the clever girl, so she had this plan (that worked!) to tell him stories. This was the plan~so after they get married and it's like evening or whatevers, she asked him if she could tell her sister a story one last time, the Sultan agreed, when it was just about to get interesting, it was sunrise, so the Sultan decided to let her live another day, this happened for a long time but soon she started to run out of stories hence why Marjan's story was so important. O.k back to this, so Marjan tells this story and Sharazad's all like yay! but there's more to the story. But Marjan doesn't know that part so hence the cunundrum. So, later in the story, Marjan has to sneak out of the harem to try and find the end of the story and a whole bunch of other stuff happens”
