• Have you ever wanted to escape to another place, another world? In The Land of Stories The Wishing Spell, life for the twin siblings Alex and Connor has not been easy. Ever since their father died from a car crash, their whole lives changed, they never got to see their mom, had to live in a cruddy apartment, and always missed their dad and the stories he'd tell. Then one day when their grandmother came to visit and give them their childhood fairytale book something happens. It started when Alex simply wished to go to a place where it's possible to have fairytale endings and happily ever afters, a place like in the book. Later ALex and Connor find themselves in a foreign land where they find themselves face-to-face with the fairytale characters they grew up reading. after being almost eaten by a witch and huge werewolves, they're trying to find a way out. With the help of a human sized talking frog, they learn about the wishing spell, that can grant you any wish no matter how extravagant or simple. But in order for it to work, they have to have these special items that are hard to get. On this journey they encounter werewolves, evil queens, goblins and trolls. Getting back home won't be as easy as they thought.

Maddy dives into the dysfunctional and wild world of customer serves where sales is prided over service and an eight hour shift is equal to eight hours of callers bashing her over the phone! Yet, Maddy manages to find humor on and off the phone. And with the crude drama off the phone there's never a dull moment!
