“I adored this book. Paul knows that he is gay, but in a very religious town and he himself being religious, it's a struggle. Paul tries to argue with God, but when openly gay Manuel comes to town, Paul and the town change. Many of the town members are very against gay rights seeing as they believe that the Bible says being gay is wrong. Paul tries to be a normal high school teenager with a girlfriend but it never felt right, and he id drawn in by Manuel's bubbly personality. Alex Sanchez is a genius for creating this, a simple idea expanded that really makes you think about what is right and wrong. ”
