I am a retired Federal employee who has always enjoyed reading. In elementary school I read all the orange covered books that were biographies about Presidents and other well-known people. I also enjoyed Nancy Drew Mysteries. I progressed to Perry Mason mysteries and am now a fan of James Patterson because they are a quick read. While working I usually read "Romance" paperbacks because I found them relaxing and they helped me to go to sleep.
Lately, I find that I am reading more non-fiction.
I help out with my library's book sales each month and am a member of our Library Advisory Committee. When in FL I belong to 3 book clubs that keep me busy. I enjoy book clubs because they force me to read books that I might not otherwise read. « less
