I am a life long resident of Washington and live on our family farm with several two and four legged family members and companions. My non reading hobbies include gardening, quilting, knitting, and learning to use my new dslr camera.

Even though I had been surrounded by books as a young child I didn't truly get the reading bug until I was in the fourth grade. One winter day after school I curled up by a heater to try to wade through a book I had to read for school. Next thing I knew I was on page 30 and it was time for dinner. Since then, getting lost in a book is a normal part of my life. « less
