Raina is a 12 year old girl who has some good friendships. One day, when she is coming home from girl scouts she has a big accident, where she busted her two front teeth. Raina Has to go through lots of dental trouble, and some boys get mixed up in her years through high school and middle school. Later in the book, Raina notices her friends are being not as friendly to her anymore. Her friends tease her about her dental problems, and then pull a nasty prank on her at school. That was the end of Raina's friendship with those girls. Raina solves this problem by making many new friends. She gets to hang out with true friends, and her dental situation, finally, gets cleared up in the end. The lesson taught in this book is that in the end, everything will be alright.
I thought this book was generally a good book. It is easy to read, and I finished it in an hour. It is a true story, so I thought it was interesting to think that this kind of problem actually exists. The ending was a bit boring, I thought that the most focused part of the book is the drama in the book.
I would give this book a 7 out of 10. I gave it this rating, mainly because the drama did not appeal to me much. I thought that it was a bit dramatic. I would recommend this to anybody who likes a story about middle school drama, but if that makes you roll your eyes or bores you, I would not recommend it.”
