“As much as I hate to say this, most horror movies that come out aren't that good or don't do anything original. The ones that do are often very small or foreign and don't fit into the mold of an "Oscar-worthy" movie. “The Good, the Bad, and the Barbie is about how Barbie was first made and her impact on the world. I chose this book because when i was little i loved barbie and the book looked interesting. Three interesting things i learned while reading the book is that when Barbie first came out she wasn't a huge hit. Secondly Mattel (the company that makes barbie) created barbies of all different races to relate to more people around the world. And finally some people use barbie parts as art. I would recommend this book to whoever has played with a barbie because the book is a lot easier to read if you can relate to it.”

Over the nonfiction unit I read the child called it . The main part of this book is a kid named Dave and his mom abuses him. I read this book because some of the other people in my class and said it was really good so I read it. It learned some stuff like Dave mom was going to become a nurse till his dad came and the mom went crazy. I would highly recommend this book it can become very sad at parts but it super good.
