It seems really confusing already! It seems like there is a lot of characters. How do you manage to keep them all straight?
What is Evie's relationship with her parents like? How does she feel about having some new step-siblings?
Is there a reason she has to go away to cooking camp? What is the camp like- what does she have to do? Tell me a little bit about Corey.
Does the plot seem realistic? What parts might seem unbelievable to you?

Hi Angelica,
What did you end up doing with Life of Pi? It's so good when you get to the big reveal/twist in the story. I figured it out about the middle of the book but it was still really cool when it was revealed. It made me feel smart! ha ha
Did you start a new book? Tell me a little about it.

I like Life of Pi. I read it a long time ago, but I thought it was great.
Why did Pi and his family have to leave India? What were they planning on doing with all these animals when they arrived? I can't remember where they were going, Canada?
How would you describe Pi? What is his personality? Does he get along with his family? What is his plan for when they get to their new home?
Let me know where you are in the book, there are a lot of good twists and turns in it. Looking forward to our conversation!

Hello Angelica,
How did "Merits of Mischief" end? Did he learn his lesson? It seems that the book was teaching you it was OK to be bad, but I have a feeling it was the opposite at the end. How did Seamus change from the beginning of the story to the end?
Did you like this book? Was there anything you would change?
Tell me a bit about "How to Beat a Bully...". The title/theme sounds a bit like the last book you read. Do you see any similarities?

Sounds like the tone of the book is a little dark. Is it dramatic or funny? Sometimes these dark books are supposed to be funny, but it seems that if a boy killed someone it would be serious. Why did he kill the lunch lady?
Why is the school trying to teach people to be bad? That's confusing to me.
Is the boy going along with it or does he resist and try to be better? What kinds of things go on in the school?

How important to the story was the misfortune of George's home life? Does he like his new apartment? Does he miss his house in Brooklyn?
