Hey Tom, I am also HIV+, Diabetic 2, Sleep apnea and Depression. but I afraid I have to tell you that I am not very religious. If there is a God why is there such turmoil on earth. I believe that there is a higher power,but it us that provides it. If you add a O to GOD you get GOOD. and that is what we should all be. If you delete a D from devil you get evil. and the is what we should not be. I turn to myself and Councillors to help with my illnesses. I used to go to church when I was younger ,but what got me upset was after a sermon, the people went out to the lobby and started to gossip. Things like ,"Did you hear what so and so did." and "so and so is so wrong to be or do that, especially judging Gay people." Well, if GOD said that though shall not judge , then these people are hypocrites. They themselves did not learn anything from the sermon. I stopped going after that because I did not think it was right. I have also had arguments with church goers who say that homosexuality is a sin. It is not, and it is not a choice as they like to believe. If GOD made us all then are these people saying that he made a mistake. I don't think so, and then there is the judging again. Also people on this earth have so many Gods and religions and they even kill others for not being of their belief, again this is wrong. So I still stick with my philosophy of GOOD and EVIL and what we know is right or wrong. Sorry, but that is how I feel. I accept that others have their own beliefs and they are entitled to it. But as a great saying goes that I heard, "I am not in this world to live up to your expectations and you are not in this world to live up to mine. I am I and You are you and if by chance we should meet it is beautiful." Now on to books that you wanted to know that I enjoy. My Favorite author is Piers Anthony. he writes science fiction fantasy novels. THer eis also a lot of true philosophy in them. They are entertaining and they also have hidden messages in them too.
