Pamela Shine has written a good book, Red Flames: Wizards' School, that would be a good read for middle school kids to young adults. This story is about Resha and her quest to get into Red Flame Wizards School. She wants to learn how to use magic. She gets more than she asked for though as she learns magic but also has to fight bad wizards and save Red Flame Wizards' School. It is a good first book complete with mystic, magic and mayhem. I look forward to more from this young author.”
