This best-selling book tells the story of Eddie, a worker at Ruby Pier, an amusement park. It begins by counting down the minutes to an accident which ultimately leads to Eddie's death. When he opens his eyes, he finds himself with the energy of a child and at Ruby Pier. It is here where he meets the Blue Man. The Blue Man explains to Eddie that he's in heaven and that he is one of the five people Eddie will meet. Not only will Eddie meet them, but he'll also learn a lesson on life.

This book isn't like any other books I've read, it touches your heart and makes you realize things you take for granted in life. If you enjoy books with that effect, I definitely recommend it.

One day, while kite running, Amir witnesses something that not only shocks him, but tests his character.
Battling with himself and dealing with the takeover of the Taliban, Amir deals with not only remorse, but experiences and overcomes challenges along the way that will forever change his life. It’s a book that tears at your heart and one that you’ll never forget.

Although I was excited to read this book, I didn't like it as much as I hoped to. I did, however, watch the movie before reading the book, so maybe that's what ruined it. However, if you want to read a horror book from the famous Stephen King, I was would recommend this to you. It contains just enough horror to keep you from falling asleep at night.

This book tells the story of Charlie, a freshman in High School. Always defined as a "loner" he tries to cope with the loss of his best friend as well as the hardships of high school. When he decided to go to a football game, coincidentally, he meets Patrick and Sam- seniors in high school. The three become best friends and experience the roller coaster of life. I highly recommend this to any high school student.
