“Yes, I like many other readers have questioned the praise and the hatred around this saga. So, instead of judging this franchise on the movies, which I am not too fund of, I read the books. I descibe this book as a rebound book. It's one of those books I read when I've finished reading the last book of a beloved series like the "The Deathly Hallows" or "The Last Olympiian", and I am not wanting to get attached or emotionally invested with the characters. The characters and the plot were pretty generic and predictable, but they kept me entertained none the less. Don't get me wrong there is a specific audience for this type of book. Stephenie Meyer did do a good job aiming for that type of audience, but if you are not apart of that audience I can't find myself to recommend this to you. This book, even though it did not get me emotionally invested, it did keep me entertained enough to make me want to finish it. If you are not into a lot of romance, you might want to skip this one, but if you are, have fun reading just pick it up at the library before spending money on it.”
