I am a married, soon-to-be graduating college student at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. I am studying to teach English, and eventually, I hope to teach overseas. I spend most of my time with my family or friends and being a life-long learner.
I enjoy a hot cup of tea and a good book anytime! I am an avid reader when I am not reading ten college text books every week. I like pretty much any genre out there, but I am a sucker for poetry or 1800's literature or fantasy or philosophy. Like I said, I like some variety! =) It is my belief reading a lot and reading a variety of literature improves everyday literacy, which after all is the key to freedom! One cannot question if one does not understand.
My other interests are cooking and painting...and STARBUCKS! =)
I am excited to meet some new avid readers and learners on Shelfari!
