3. Summary: This book is about a little boy going to preschool. It lists normal activities that children do when they go to preschool. They paint, do puzzles, look at books, play on the playground, run, and cry when they get hurt. They have snack and nap time to reenergize. There are usually class pets or plants to look at too. They sing, dance, and play with all sorts of toys but they are also taught to clean up after themselves. At the end of the day everyone leaves with their parents.
Review: This is a normal sized book. The pictures are big and colorful and the text is medium sized but also in an interesting font. The pages are thick and there is not a lot of text on each page, which is good for children in preschool. This is an easy read because the words are not really in full sentences, which is good for children learning to read. I also really like the end of the book because there is a flap on the last page as if the door opens and the boys’ mother is there. I think children will like that part too.
4. Uses in the classroom:
-Help preschool children become comfortable
-Do the activities in the book with the children
-Draw pictures of their day at preschool
