“As the title might suggest, Kerridge is a true eccentric midst exhibitionists desperately trying to be unique. In terms of politics, Kerridge technically would be listed as a conservative, but he would not fit into any political party. One thing I especially enjoyed about him was that he genuinely took interest in and engaged with the kind of people who often get ignored--people who clean public toilets, the homeless. While technically I'm on the opposite end of the political spectrum, I liked reading Kerridge: he has the kind of quietly insightful, polite personalities that I often fear is going extinct. If you enjoy odd bird writers, you should give Kerridge a chance.”
