I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy in the 10th grade. I loved it but didn't really become a hard core fantasy reader untill I friend of mine lent me the " Magic Kingdom For Sale: Sold!" by Terry Brooks. I skipped 3 days of clases in a row my freshman year in collage reading that series!!!

I had at one time read all of the Dragon Lance and Forgotton realm books. I havn't read on of those now for 15 years. I like all of the epic fantasy series...Martin, Brooks, Goodkind, Erickson....ect.

I hadn't picked up a book in 5 years, and this last Febuary I purchased a Kindle Fire and have back to reading big time!!!!....I can't believe all of the new Wheel of Time books that are out now. The last one I read was #9...Im going to wait a bit for the rest to be published before I tackle them again.

George r.r. martin is still my favorite auther, havn't read his new one yet (took him long enough to get it out!!) I have read the first 3 books twice!!

Its amazing how much reading one can do once the retire from WOW...lol
