“100 pages:
Never having been much of a baseball fanatic growing up, I’ve found this book to be enriching. I have played the game for a while but never took time to do some research on its history. This book, not only taught me about pivotal moments in the history of baseball, but it also urged me to research about it. In the book I learned about Bud Selig, the current commissioner of Major League Baseball, and about his actions regarding the use of anabolic steroids in the game. His failure to act to the necessary extent in regards to the drug scandal that is sweeping the game off its feet is compared to the 1919 World Series scandal, which I had to do some research on to find the details. I think this book is one worth reading, for not only am I being educated in the history of a sport I love, but also being urged to learn about it independently. ”
