Steven lives in Perth, Western Australia, where, after completing his school studies, he chose motor mechanics as a career. He worked for nine years as a general mechanic before moving into the specialized field of carburation and fuel emissions. Not long after he met his wife, Jenny, and in 1985, they settled in the suburbs of Perth to raise their family. Together they started a successful small business (Carburettor Rebuilders), which they ran until 2006.
Soon after closing the business, Steven began working as a storeman for an electrical wholesaler. This job had the benefit of reducing the workload whilst maintaining and improving his fitness. It was through this sea change of life and a greater focus of mind that Steven was able to sit down and compile the events that G-d had led him through, and this also allowed him to produce his second book, The Book of Reception. « less
