This book is about a young girl who finds this older man very attractive and wants to marry him. He has a wife though, he had an affair with the girl, Abigail and so she thought they were gonna be forever together. She does everything in her will to try and get rid of the wife, Elizabeth, and pretends that she's sending her evil spirits on her.”
