I am self proclaimed Book lover... I am always seeking a good book to read. If you ever want to know where I am, it is usually curled up reading a romance novel or a murder mystery. I am a breast cancer survivor and reading has been my therapy, to help me through the ups and downs in my life. I am __ years old and I am the mother of three adult... more »

    Thanks for your note, Sharon.
I've been treated for lung cancer for six months but the doctors are optimistic. I'm in a cancer group study at Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven.

One of the things that has brought me joy is that just prior to being diagnosed, my thriller, "Splattered Blood" was published.

Although it's from a small pub and I don't have an agent, at least in Connecticut, word is going strong as well as with my reading friends. If you have a chance, please check it out.

    Sincerely,

    Mike

Read your note about Karin Slaughter. I'm reading her novel, "Criminal" now and definitely enjoying it. But there are so many gruesome things happening to women, I think it takes a strong disposition to read her books.
Is it true that you are a cancer survivor? So am I, peace and good health to you.
    Sincerely,
    Mike

Hello Sharon. I was touched to hear about your bravery and conquest of cancer and how reading (and no doubt family) has been your therapy. Bless you. I’m interested in your tags for "Nervous" - Zane as I'm looking for selected readers who might like my own novel. Your rating of 5* and tags of "suspense, split personality, psychology and mental illness" and your apparent interest in mystery (Lisa Gardner) are my reasons for sending you a note.

My novel “the DEAD LOOP” contains all of those themes as well as crime. It is easy to read, emotive and a unique psychological thriller mystery about a family man that dies every single day and has no idea why. It also touches on the theme of cancer, just to warn you.

Part 1 is free on Kindle every 18 days or so, or 99c normally. If it intrigues you at all I would appreciate any feedback.

I'm always looking for book lovers to tell about my book(s): 1. The High Price Of A Good Man (by debra phillips) If you have a sense of humor, you will enjoy this romantic comedy of a strong, black woman looking for love in all the wrong places. 2. Love Trumps Game (by d.y. phillips). This fast-paced, page-turner will keep you going until you reach the last page. Children who have to be hidden from their own homicidal father is always a good read. 3. Bitter With The Sweet (by debra phillips) eBook format only, the story of three once close sisters dealing with family drama and a mother that ask them to do the "unthinkable". All three books can be found on amazon.com, along with reviews.

    Hello:

It looks like it’s going to rain all day but that’s okay because we need it. Mother Nature has a mind of her own.
May your flowers always be in bloom.

We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a new novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.

Please check out my author page for excerpts:

Some of the characters in Dracula: Hearts of Stone

Dracula is a good guy / Jenny is a powerful 12-year-old wizard that doesn’t yet understand her own abilities / The author Piers Anthony is a vampire / Tessy is a vampire dog /Moon Diamond is a vampire Siamese cat that is possessed / Lauren is an extraordinary red sheriff
