Just happened to see your comment on Captain Vorpatril's Alliance, and I agreed. So I went to look at more of your shelf, and we have quite a bit of overlap (although I've lost momentum on working on my shelf). I agree that Memory is one of the very best. If you haven't read it, I strongly recommend Barrayar, but you should read Shards of Honor first. Not any kind of hardship:) And The Curse of Chalion, which comes before Paladin of Souls, is outstanding and I'd like to know what you think of it.

And I want to recommend one of my personal favorites: A Vision of Light, by Judith Merkle Riley. (Maybe you've read it -- didn't check your shelf.)

Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published a month. Yikes. I didn’t think that many novelists existed.
