I will try and get a copy of this book then. Thanks for the advice. x
Well, I read them a long time ago (late 70's). I think they are longer and perhaps more drawn out then the movies, and probably a bit dated now.
I have always wanted to read this but I never seem to get hold of a copy. I see there is a film out now, as well. Have you seen the film? Which should I see first? The book or the film?
Connelly is probably better than Parker, overall. I did like Laguna Heat, which is about 20 years old.
Hi, thats one of the few of his I haven't read. Just reserved Nine Dragons on audio discs. Have you read others of his? Also, have you read any T.Jefferson Parker? wlk
you should definately read it, it was one of the most interesting books i've ever read. i love how he uses the old gods in this story and how they are battling with the new gods of technology.
american gods is one of my favorite books and neil gaiman is my favorite author. i highly recommend it!
I'd highly recommend most all of the Michael Connelly books.
Hi Momtallica. I'm from the Canada group and just wanted to stop by to welcome you to the group. It's not a terribly active group, but it tends to comes in spurts. There is a Welcome and Introductions thread if you'd like to introduce yourself there. We also have a review thread if you read anything by a Canadian author. Of course, feel free to contribute to the other threads as well! Enjoy! :-)I see you've already found the introductions thread. Thanks for joining in right away! :-D
