I really wanted to like this book and got to page 274 (which was half-way) and gave up. I thought the whole "he said" thing was so contrived and made it so difficult to follow. Having three Thomases and only referring to them as "he" was absurd. I think it would make a great door stop!

I'm about a third of the way through and I'm loving it! Perhaps my visit to Fallingwater last weekend adds to my enjoyment.

Hi Tina ~ I'm still wading through "Elegance......" - I actually think it has some very interesting concepts - takes a bit of concentration to read, which is not a bad thing - and, I think will be a good 'discussion' book - I've ear-marked several pages.......

Tina ~ I still have many books to post! I'm reading PATHS OF GLORY by Jeffrey Archer - it's a novel based on a true story of a mountain climber - I'm loving it!

No I haven't read it yet. I'm drawn to it because of the Dutch connection, but I do see that many people didn't like it. Yet, it made it on so many "best book" lists, I figure it must have something going for it. I keep moving to the bottom of my pile. Are you liking "Olive Kitteridge"? I loved it!

Yay, Tina!!! That was fast - you crack me up! I definitely will read the first two books on your shelf. I think "The Help" is already on my Wish List.
