Don't worry about it! Sometimes I don't respond for several days/weeks! Def check out the Carpathians.. they are just so yummy!!! Ive been reading pretty steadily this year so far.. once the hubby deploys again I'll be reading tons more! lol I have so many good new books coming out I cant wait!! I just finished my newest Nora Roberts book, and now Im debating b/c Chosen (House of Night) or another one of my shelf I havent read yet. Im still looking for Dark Guardian from the Carpathian series so I can read more of those.. looks like I might have to go on ebay to find it! What new ones are you looking forward to this year?? Have you read Lover Unleased??!?!!
Hey there! I know it seems like forever! lol Ive been reading off and on like crazy!! My friend recently got me hooked on the Carpahian Series by Christine Feehan.. very yummy!! And I just started reading the House of Night series last week. Other than that Im kind of reading a lil slower these days.. I have lots Ive been doing. Plus I have about 30 new books coming out this year that Im very impatiently waiting on!! I am on the edge of my seat waiting for Lover Unleased to come out next week!!! How about you? What books have you been reading???
hi areeese sorry for such a late reply i really enjoy reading and i really need to update my shelf i have read so many books this year i try to fit in at least a book a day when i go to the bookstore i normally but a whole series at a time happy reading will get back to you on books that are worth a read

i can already agree with you on hush hush being better than kissed by an angel... its the end of the day and ive only read 100 pages of kissed... graceling no havent read it.. whats it about???
Really??? I loved the ending. I was a little disappointed that Patched didnt get to become Human, but still I totally loved it. Yeah i woke up and started to read it and i told my husband i refused to go to bed until i finished it! hahaha Now im starting on Kissed by an Angel today...
OMG i just finished reading Hush Hush.. youve read that right?! OMG I LOVED IT!!!! I couldnt put it down!!! First book Ive read since the Twilight Saga that i finished in one day!!!!!!
i cant really complain though. My husband spoils me and doesnt expect me to clean 24/7. so thats a huge relief! haha Im still reading The Good The Bad and the Undead and i swear its killing me! I dont know why i just cant get into it as i did the last one. My goal is to finish it tomorrow bc Hush Hush is tormenting me on my bookshelf! I am dying to pick it up and read! Ive heard good things about that one! Im going to try to run to B&N for more books this week (like i really need more! haha)
hahaha i know.. i am a total book worm.. and then i have to find time to cook, clean, play with my son and do my scrapbooking.. thats probably why i stay up till like 12a or 1 a
haha same here.. ive been waiting for the new Jeaninene Frost book (Night Huntress World), book 10 in the Sookie Stackhouse books (Dead in the Family), Succubus Shadows in the Georgina Kincaid series, Lover Mine (BDB), Torment (Fallen series), book 5 in Vampire Academy (Spirit Bound), book 6 in Vampire Diaires... plus my other books like Nora Roberts and JD Robb... and im still starting/finding other new series to get myself into!!! Im reading Dead Witch Walking right now but i think after i finish this im going to put this series down so i can read Hush Hush, it looks good... so we'll see!
I completely agree with you there. I personally think that V and Wrath and Rhage are the 3 hottest vamps (well in this series that is!) Im dying for Lover Mine to come out soon... ugh i hate having to wait forever for my books to be released.. ugh
Honestly I was shocked and a little upset. I was thrilled that she came back, but i a lil disappointed that she came back a ghost. But I loved this story.. Jane and V make such a cute couple, but its still kinda weird a vampire and a ghost! haha What did you think?
haha i know i would LOVE to find a book ladder as well.. i doubt id ever use it but it would be soooo neat looking!YAY!!! I always love when i can get someone into scrapbooking! I find the best time to scrap is at night when my son is sleeping!
Yeah i have a fewwww plans for my library! The main priority is to get more shelving in here and choose a paint color.. As for scrapbook supplies, check out Jo Anns (they tend to be the cheapest and always have sales), Michaels (bigger selection) or try scrapbookpal.com (spend $25 and get free priority first shipping)
If you just dive right in it can be. I would suggest getting the basics (a trimmer, adhesive, paper, stickers, album) and decide on something to do (babys first years, Christmas, your house, your wedding etc) and go from there. After a while you'll start to get into what you like (style wise) also if you go to scrapbook.com they have TONS on layouts that can help you decide on what to do. Also if you have a local scrapbook store (dont go to a chain store b/c they arent that helpful for beginners) and let them know you want to start and they can help you from there.I totally love having my own room, i even have a lil table in here for my son so he can color while i read or scrap! My husband even put a tv in here so now all i need is a mini fridge and im set! haha
haha yeah it doubles as my scrapbook room as well.. that was one of the conditions on buying a house.. i had to have a room for myself. Eventually my husband is going to build me floor to celing bookshelves in here so i have a lot more space for my never ending collection of books! I just took some pictures the other day so i'll email you them!! It'll look better to once i paint the room.
I've been doing that a lil more since i joined shelfari... when someone suggests a book (like the ones you did) I'll go to the Barnes and Noble website and look at it. But i have to actually go to the store and look at the first few pages to see if it grabs me. I told my husband i still want to keep buying books (since i have my own library room now) but i wouldnt mind getting a kindle for when we go on road trips.. that way i dont have to cart so many books around. You'll love Lover Unbound... Lover Enshrined is kind of hard to read, but its still good!! And i think you'll love Fallen!!
i have to be honest.. i judge books by their covers, and that is what sold me on Fallen. I loved the cover of it, then once i read the synopsis i was intrigued. The first chapter was kind of lame, but then once i got to chapter 3 i was hooked. Loved it! And of course they had a suspenseful ending making me itch for the next book. I'll have to check out Shiver and Jessica to see if they grab my attention next time im at b&n
I know it has been crazy insane for the last 2 months! I didnt get to do as much reading as i would have liked but now that things have settled a little im getting back into my books. I found a new series that i liked.. its called Fallen by Lauren Kate. Its in the young adult section, but it was pretty good. Looking forward to book 2 this summer. My husband bought me some of the Rachel Morgan books so im almost done with the first book. At first i thought it was slow and boring but now im getting into it. I havent heard of Jessicas Guide to Dating on the darkside. I might have to chck that out. Is Shiver good? Ive seen it and heard people talk about it but not sure what its about or if its any good...
