What's happening? Besides snow? We are still running outside but it certainly is hazardous to health and limb.
One of my bookclubs is reading Postmistress for next month -- 3 of our members have Kindles so they instantly have the book. I loved the Forgotten Garden and will read anything that Morton writes. I just finished the new Yann Martel (LIfe of Pi) -- wish I knew what it was about. The Brookings 1/2 marathon is in 2 weeks. Starting to panic -- ran in the horrid wind on Saturday and thought I might just expire!
Hi! I finally joined. I see that you have books by C. J. Box on your shelf. That's the author Mike is currently reading. He never read until this past year. Talk soon!
We have "once a runner" on book cd, which I will try on our next trip. Many of our Turtles are coming back from hibernation -- only 2 of us actually spent the winter outside. Great job on getting new PR's every time you race. Me, I just hope to finish. Just got a new pair of Mizunos, since reps were in town and giving us 20% off. I've read the "Red Tent" but not "Day after Night". Just started "The Reliable Wife" which has been getting lots of word of mouth press. How's the job situation?
Have you read Born to Run yet? Will make you want to run barefoot for 100 miles!
Hey there Denae! Any particular favorites that are "must reads"? I try to draw on my friends best picks for my shelf. Also, could you shoot me your email. I can't seem to find it since you left Navitaire. Thanks. Kat
