Hey karli.. You realize that you read a lot of books with inappropriate titles. I do not approve of this.

-Lawyer- Due to the fact that Katie is on trial for murdering her baby, she must get a lawyer to defend her in court. The lawyer in the picture is a woman, and has a briefcase full of files. In the book Katie’s lawyer is Ellie Hathaway, she is also a woman, and she often brings up her briefcase in the book. She has many files that talk about Katie’s case and due to the fact that she is on the Fisher’s farm, she must keep all of her files together in a briefcase, just like the woman in the picture. This woman also appears to be serious and hardworking, just like Ellie Hathaway, who works very hard to make she she keeps Katie out of jail.
Fisher’s loved the baby boy, even though they never got to meet him, and have him grow up with them.-Doctor- The Fisher’s have many encounters with numerous doctors throughout the book. The doctor in my picture looks very confident, just like the doctors in my book are very confident that Katie Fisher was the one who gave birth to the dead baby boy on the farm. Even though Katie insists that she never delivered that baby, the doctors know through many tests that she in fact did. Other doctors in the book prove that Katie had a disease from raw milk that she drank on the farm, which then she passed on to the baby, and what also could have killed the baby. All of the doctors are also men in the book, just like the doctor in the picture.
-Young Amish Girl- In Plain Truth, the main character is Katie Fisher. She is only 18, and she is also amish. The girl in my picture is also young and amish just like Katie. The girl in this picture represents Katie in all ways, she has a long dress and a bonnet, with her hair all pulled up in to the bonnet. Many times in the book they describe how Katie has to pull all her hair in to her bonnet very neatly, and the girl in this picture also has all her hair pulled up.-Swaddled Newborn- The main character Katie Fisher, gives birth to a baby boy. The baby in this picture appears to be a newborn, and also a boy, just like the young infant in Plain Truth. The baby in the picture is also swaddled in a blanket, where as in the book, the baby is found in the barn, under many blankets, swaddled, just like the baby in the picture.-Red Barn- Katie Fisher, unlike most women who give birth in a hospital, gives birth to her baby boy in a barn. This barn is located on her family farm. The barn in the picture reminds me of the barn in Plain Truth because it is a large barn, and there is a fence around it, and in the book Katie’s family owns horses, and she describes how her horses are fenced in. Because of the fact her family owns horses I picture the barn to be large with a fence, just like the one in the book.-Rusty Scissors- When Katie delivers her baby boy, she cuts his umbilical cord with a rusty scissors in the barn, just like the one in the picture. This is also of significance because at the end of the book, Sarah Fisher, who is Katie’s mom, confesses to killing her daughters baby to Ellie Hathaway, who is Katie’s lawyer. After her confession she gives the rusty scissors to Ellie and insists she takes them because she does not want to give them back to her husband, due to the dried blood of the baby on them. -Police Officers- After one of Aaron Fisher’s workers find the baby under a pile of blankets in the barn, the Fisher’s call the police immediately. In the picture, there are several police officers and they are talking, in the book, many of the officers on the site of the murder confide to eachother, and tell eachother what they think happened to the baby. This picture reminds me of all the police officers who are at the scene that Katie describes because they are all discussing the situation, and there are several officers.-Small Tombstone- There is a scene in the book where the Fisher family attends the funeral of the murdered baby. In the picture there is a small tombstone with a heart on it, this reminds me of the tombstone they describe of the baby. I picture a small tombstone because the person being buried is a tiny baby, and the heart represents that the
